Question: What do you do in your free time?
M. Watch movies, eat, sleep, play tennis.
P. Watch TV, sleep, hang out with friends.

Question: What's the one thing you miss being away from home? (when you are away)
M. My family.
P. Sleeping in my own bed.

Question: If there is one place you could go, where would it be?
M. Hawaii, I think it would be a great place to have a vacation.
P. I don't know.

Question: Are you ever going to write a book?
M. Right now I have no plans to write one, but maybe after the next Olympics.
P. Probably not.

Question: Where is your favorite place to vacation?
M. I don't vacation.
P. I don't vacation, but I have traveled all over the world doing gymnastics.

Question: If you ever have a week off what is something you like to do?
M. Go to Wisconsin Dells, which is a water park in a very pretty part of Wisconsin.
P. Go on vacation.

Question: What do you do to "just relax"?
M. Sleep or hang out with friends.
P. Watch movies.

Question: How many hours a week do you train?
M. About 26 hours per week, 3 hrs/day 5 nights a week and 2 hrs/day 4 mornings a week and Saturday afternoons.

Question: What do you plan to do when you finish gymnastics?
M. Get a job that I enjoy and pays well.

Question: Have you ever thought about coaching?
M. Sure, that's something I haven't ruled out yet.

M. Being alone.
P. A career ending injury.

Question: What would you do if an injury sidelined you forever?
M. I would try something new where my injury would not be a hindrance.

M. I really don't have a favorite holiday

Question: What is the weirdest fan mail thing that you've gotten? - Nikki
M. There have been some rather gross sexual letters.
P. Same out of line sexual letters. We don't appreciate it. Would you?

Question: How do you feel your teenage years have been affected by being an Olympic gymnast? - Carly
M. It has made it hard to have a "normal" social life, even though I do do things with friends.
P. It has been hard to have a fully active social life, but I've already gotten to travel the world, and I wouldn't give it up for anything.

Question: Have you been recognized a lot since the Olympics? - Carly
M. Yeah, since Paul and I are twins it is very easy for people to recognize us, especially when we are together.
P. Yes.

Question: Is the red car they featured in the NBC Olympic photos your car??? - Carly
M. No, I wish!
P. No, that was a car in some garage in Colorado Springs where we did a photo shoot.

Question: What did you do on your birthday in Sydney? - Carly
M. Went to a Sports Illustrated party that was right on the harbor next to the Sydney opera house. I had a blast there.
P. Went to the Sports Illustrated party with Morgan and Alian, and Dominique and Blaine and Steve and the whole crew.

Question: What did you get? - Carly
M. I really didn't get any official presents, but my parents bought me a laptop computer at just about that time.
P. Same as Morgan.

Question: What are your middle names?
M. Carl
P. Elbert. Right up until I was born, our parents thought there was only one of us. They planned to name the baby Morgan Paul if it was a boy. When it was twins they split the name in two and had to come up with two new middle names. Carl is our dad's middle name, and Elbert is my maternal, maternal grandfather's name. He was also affectionately called DeDaddy.
