Meet 'n' Greet - Erica
To tell the whole story, I have to start at the beginning. This year (2004) was the first year I ever really got into the Olympics. Before now, I was pretty young and didn't care too much. The only thing I watched before was the gymnastics. Well, this year, I liked almost everything, but I still LOVED the gymnastics, and that is where I first heard of the Hamms. Instantly I was amazed at their great looks :) and soon I realized they were awesome gymnasts! When I watched Paul's all-around competition preformance, I became obsessed with him! So anyway, after the Olympics were done, I wanted to see more of Paul and Morgan. I found this website. I researched them. Then, one day, there was a posting on this website that Paul and Morgan were going to be in Waukesha on September 15. I was overjoyed! To make a long story short, on September 15, me and my brother got out of school early and we drove to Waukesha South with my mom. I saw the Hamms talk, get awards, and do a preformance of their gymnastics skills. Then there was a parade for them. After the parade, I got an AWESOME poster of them and a "Waukesha South is proud of Paul and Morgan Hamm" T-shirt. I got both autographed. Unfortunately, I didn't actually get to talk to the Hamms, but I was right there, a foot in front of them, and I got their autograph. The Waukesha South T-shirt is now one of my favorite T-shirts! I only regret that my experience is over. But I always have my eyes open for when they'll be in Wisconsin again! Paul and Morgan, YOU ROCK and I LOVE YOU GUYS!!
