Meet 'n' Greet - Carly

In order to understand how I ended up meeting them, you must first understand how it even happened, because its a fairly interesting story. After watching the Olympics, I realized that I was REALLY interested in the Hamm twins and as a joke I had sent them an email asking them to homecoming (which fortunately they never received). So basically my whole English class didn't believe me and made fun of me when they found out and I was determined to go with them to homecoming. So I thought....okay well so I cant go with them to homecoming but they are coming with the post Olympic tour so Id LOVE to go see that! So before buying tickets, I decided to consult with my radio teacher about interviews we could do and she said that our high school radio is actually apart of the press and we are entitled to interviews with anyone we could get a hold of. So by chance, I was reading a chat transcript on JSOnline and they had posted their email address! So I emailed them with "Very Important" as the subject header and within 24 hours their dad referred me with a lady who works with USA-gymnastics and then I emailed her and she referred me to the coordinator of the post Olympic tour! So basically, after dealing with her for 2 weeks, I was able to arrange an interview at the United Center with Paul and Morgan. Obviously, I was extremely excited. So my friend, and fellow DJ, Christine, stayed after my radio show one day and made up questions and I typed them and the next day we were called out of school and on our way to the United Center. After 3 hours of traffic and Bon Jovi songs we were at the United Center! Finally we were led in there with press passes in tact and a huge grin on my face. Of course, when I went in there, I maintained my integrity and looked very professional and met Paul and Morgan. I was somewhat rushed because I had 5 minutes instead of the 15 I was promised so I only got to ask 20 questions (cliche isnt it?). Anyway, the interview came out great and I got to ask them a few silly questions and posed in some photos with them. They were both really nice guys and chances are they dont remember me at all but its all good haha. And thats my story.
